expand_less Day 120

For many days the sky has changed. A great shadow comes from an immense floating dot somewhere on the horizon.
It has cast the island in a gloom. The soldiers do not drink. I welcome the cool air.
The wasps do not like any of it.

Perhaps the worst part so far is that a boise seems to get louder everyday.
It's as if a thousand mice were squealing down a the other end of a long pipe.
It started as a curious little change.
But it grows louder and louder now, and it has started to invade my sleep.
I plug my ears with my fingers at night.
The dot grows larger now, but still not much to see. The wasps seems to be more active in general,
louder, flying in wider circles, and sleeping less.
Nature era

It is said that the Holy Isles came about at much the same time as The Aogos or soon after.
Some believe that we live on an extension of their bodies, although most believe the land to be a secondary
body of theirs. The first would be the waters.

When the Holy Isles were born, they were surrounded by great waters made from the pool of Zoareaos. It
poured the mysterious magics of cosmic fortune down. It is said that the water has no will.
It is fortune. A path unledgable. So it sprouted life.

It is said when life sprouted, all Aogos created their denizens at once.
Zoareaos eventually emerged as the great wide sea bats of the Holy Ocean.
Akulmm found its way to the downy octopus, and Teurzg became the great water mammoth.
So as above, the great water mammoth laid on the bottom of the holy sea, praying and observing all of life before them. All the good and bad.

One day the magical waters of Zoareaos - which gave everything life - stopped, and life then began to change. The holy sea began to shrink
and life ate life to survive another day. This was the first war, and Teurzg learned of observing and praying for death, for warriors, and for peace.

In the end, the sea could only sustain the beasts of Zoroaster, the sea bats soon eventually swimming with the fish and eels.
For this reason the holy sea is said to hold the souls of stars in its creatures. Elhannai say to be wary of fishing there. We worry about dining on the sun.

Now Akullmm had fought and won, and so the downy octopus owned land, and stole from its victims many new features, spreading the land with
strange new life. Even now the Holy Isles is mainly occupied with furry Rythmamthyr. Even the giant wasps are hairier here.

The great water mammoth was left alone in the war, and on the day of the truce, the gods escorted it to land
before it died. It would not survive on land, but nor would it eat another animal, and so the gods intervened, allowing the water mammoth
to pass on. Its life was passed to the last few of Akullm's children. Blessed with the touch of gods, these children became the first intelligent races.

It is not known why the waters of Zoareaos stopped. But since the day of the truce, only the most banal rain comes, and it is a question we wonder, what stars remain in the holy sea?

Outro / Day 130
I am writing to you now in much worse shape. I've witnessed something holy.
Perhaps the true reason of this place.

I lay here in bandages made of my torn up robe.
I do not have the energy to scribe it all just now. Maybe in a few days.
