Ela+color image

Ela is the color of spirituality and faith.  It's the sum of your principles and values, enshrining your moral and ethical code of conduct.  Essentially it describes the intentions, if not the means, by which a person chooses to act.

With Vei, Ela carries the additional weight of honor and betrayal.  Trust, accusations, and justice all emerge from these colors.

With Rha, Ela helps define your character or personal style.  Some believe that these are the base colors of the soul, or that they're the basis of one's social life and interactions.

With Biz, Ela serves as life-giving water or the cold chill of winter.  It also describes creatures that dwell in those habitats, such as swimming creatures.

Pfi and Jutu are the colors with the least associations with Ela.  Logic and technology have little concern for your beliefs.  Rogues trust no one and believe little, and so that role is generally in opposition to Ela (and Rha).

A pious cleric or political activist might be good examples of an Ela-based character.  They are true believers with Biz and Vei as supporting colors, and a conflict with Rha.  They often clash with leaders or the ruling class, and their efforts are aimed at converting others or enacting social change.

In the real world, a figure such as Mahatma Gandhi would be based in Ela, given his personal convictions and commitment to his cause.  He'd have the support of his wealthy family and caste (Biz) or his wisdom and sensibilities (Vei), and he'd challenge the imperialists (Rha).  Arguably, the man was actually much more complex, valuing goals such as love, truth, freedom, and peace simultaneously.

Glei+color image

Glei is the color of perception and imagination.  It's the sum of your sense of reality and dreams of fantasy.  They say beauty lies in the eye of the beholder, and so the appreciation of beauty and art belong to this color as well.

With Jutu, Glei carries the element of storm with the season of spring.  Since both dexterity and perception are needed for marksmanship, these colors include all range attacks or abilities as well.

With Quae, Glei completes the mind or mental axis.  Perception could be considered the source of all experience, and knowledge is the effect of that experience.  Mysteries and secrets also hide within these colors.

With Sace, Glei embraces the arts, especially those of persuasion and trickery.  Charmers and artists of all sorts reveal themselves here.

Biz and Dau are the colors with the least relevance for Glei.  Who has time for the arts or daydreaming when survival is on the line?  Strength and fortune have little to contribute to skill and self-realization.

A ranger, trickster, or seducer might all fit well in Glei.  The romantic image of a pirate might fit all three ideas, storming enemy ships for plunder with guns blazing (Jutu), alternatively scheming to outwit their captors or fellow crewmembers (Sace), all while embracing the thrill of adventure (Quae).  Their primary conflict would be with Quae, as they lack the education or hindsight to break the cycle, and are often doomed to failure because of it.

In the real world, Michelangelo might be a good example of a Glei-centered character.  Especially considering his rival, Leonardo da Vinci, who would likely be based in Quae.  Michelangelo kicked off his career with a forged statue and continually sought to prove his manual and artistic skills.  Not much is known about his internal struggles, but while his artwork inspired a sense of awe, it arguably lacked the essential truth pursued by Da Vinci.
