Only a lost man turns a Black Talon from their doorstep.
The Black Talon are a race of Riftwolves descended from the ancient, pre-cataclysm experiments. Over many generations, they have become a people of their own; famously skilled fighters and deeply tied to the broken earth.
Riftwolves are able to switch to and between various phases of wolf and man and the Black Talon, more than any others have developed powerful fighting techniques that take advantage of this. These same gifts allowed them the fortune of surviving the cataclysm, separated from Olma and other scrabbling societies. In that time, they not only remembered their shamanistic ties to the earth but grew and adapted them, until their people not only thrived but found strength in the new, broken world.
Eventually times changed and power found power, when the skirmishes began – Small disputes between various houses and the nomadic Riftwolves. But confidence and politics found the solution, so the cunning Black Talon found their place amongst the houses, as mercenaries and intermediaries. Taking the form of humans, they pose as Resident Ohmani Humans, carry messages, and do the dirty work of which ever house they loyally and diligently serve. If there is a Black Talon around, there is something political going down.
This is where Lone comes in and this is why he is there: under the banner of the house Kshartrio and by the desire of Sandra Kshartrio specifically. Lone was told little of any intents but that bothers him little, as being neck deep in politics is only any fun if you are trying to figure everything out as you go – It is no game otherwise. He did not come alone and will never work alone: his pack building and soon to be afforded the fierce loyalty and explosive power of a Black Talon comrade.
He is a dark skinned in his Human form and his hair is even darker; Six foot and five, perceptive but perpetually appearing as a witless fool, devoid of any sort of elegance. Such is his most useful tool. But he really does not appear as anything but a lowly resident or even denizen.. If not for that smile.. That smile on his face defied all categorical efforts.
