Gillvoice Amulet Item

This prized Teotl creation causes non-swarm aquatic creatures to only breath air, non-swarm terrestrial creatures to only breath water, either to hear and produce sounds, or either to smell and produce scents (this does not grant the scent special ability).  These abilities function both underwater and in open-air environments, but once a mode is selected it cannot be changed until the item is removed and re-equipped.  Used to facilitate communication between the teotl and other species, it can be worn as an amulet, although once activated (with a mental free action) it acts like a graft or construct component and can only be removed with a full-round action that provokes attacks of opportunity and deals 1 Con damage to the wearer.
